Open Door Festival of Music
November 18 (7:00 p.m)
It’s hard to believe some music can make you feel this good! For the 9th time this year, ‘Open Door Festival of Music’ is taking place for indie-music lovers. The event has been famous for presenting musicians in embryo in T.O, and it’s now making a “cause celebre (famous case) in the city.” This year’s lineup includes multi-instrumentalist Adam Solomon, Hannah Georgas with beautiful, clear voice, Madison Violet to enjoy harmony, Lentic for folk tunes, Diana Braithwaite & Chris Whiteley for jazz ‘n’ blues, retro-chic rock’n’roller Major Maker and lots more! The sponsor, Red Door Shelter, isn’t usually open for the sake of music but for providing a safe and supportive place to stay for those who suffer from domestic violence and who are without a place to live. Besides, all the musicians are devoting their time and undeniable talent to make a difference on a local level. Tickets are $15; you enjoy music while making some good cause.
